I went through all my entries and tagged them yesterday ~ took bloody ages and my tags are very unimaginative, but at least it's done now and a bit more organised.  I also cleared out a lot of stuff from my computer, burned a lot of stuff, and generally tidied up and organised everything which makes me happy  :)

I still can't find the tops worn in this icon I'm using and I've looked HERE (where clearly I got distracted for quite some time) and HERE and can't see it ~ seriously, if any of you know where to find it, please tell me.  PLEASE.

Hope everyone is happy and OK  :)

Either YouTube is being a pain or my computer is being bloody annoying, but I keep getting this message when I try and watch anything on YouTube:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.

And yeah, I've seen it before and it was easily resolved.  But not this time apparently.  So please feel free to tell the IT-dumabass (me) what I'm doing wrong  :/

I have the day off today so am trying out a couple of SGA vid ideas. Have pretty much given up trying to properly render the SPB vid, though I do try now and again ~ it's very frustrating :/ I kinda got it to save, but it's a version that gives you no details about bit rate or length of vid, and won't rewind or f/forward, it will just play, but it will at least play the whole thing. For example (about the details) on a properly rendered vid that I have saved as a WMV, these are the categories displayed when you hover over with the mouse: Type, File, Duration, Bit Rate, Dimensions, Protected and Size, but with this other version I have so far managed to save all you get is: Type, Dimensions & Size. Also, when you play it as well as not being able to rewind or f/forward, it doesn't tell you the total time if the vid. Trivial things, I suppose. My question is: should I just upload it anyway, and share what I have managed to save, in the hope that one day I will be able to get the damn thing to render properly? It is actually complete, just not renedered properly, I guess.

My TV was returned today, all mended and with a new tube installed :) Actually, it wasn't too bad using The Boy's TV in his bedroom ~ although his TV is small (my now fixed TV is 32") his bed was very comfy and I didn't really mind the small picture.

I had to go shopping this morning, much as I didn't want to leave the house. It's my day off and I would've been perfectly happy to alternate between my computer, my TV and my books :) But I needed coffee and stuff, so had to venture out :( Also ended up buying three bars of Divine FairTrade chocolate (which is gorgeous so go get some) ~ one bar as part of my friends birthday present, one bar for my neglectful geeky elf partner (who forgets where I am alot of the time whilst she over-geeks ~ I know she can't help it so I forgive her :) ~ but she's having a traumatic time so needs supplies) and one bar for me ... in case I accidentally ate one of the first two bars :) Pretty good plan, eh? Of course, it's early in the day yet and there are currently three bars of chocolate sitting on my dining table ...........

I've just spent 4 solid hours on work stuff and I think I got half a day sorted.  Half a day.  Out of a whole week.  Yeah, my week off is over, isn't it?  The summer timetable that wasn't supposed to start for about a month has to be in place in about 10 days.  Should've known my week off was going too well.

My geeky obsession emailed me today, so that was one thing to make me smile.  Not very helpful in terms of getting past the obsessing bit, but hey, did I mention it made me smile?  ;)  [profile] _gater_ , you're the Shep expert you're good at naming things, what shall we call him?  Some RL friends read this occasionally so a new name would be good  :)

Oh, and I now have 71 userpics uploaded ~ since I got 100+ to play with, I have become so, so picky!  But I have some lovely pics that really make me smile - and now I've installed Photoshop, I may one day actually be able to make my own!  Unfortunately, I've now realised that all those wonderful tutorials I saved for when I was ready to start making icons, are actually way, way, way a bit too advanced for me, so if any of you would like to kindly point me in the direction of the very basic idiots guide, I'd be most obliged  :)

I'm now either going to watch another episode of PB or work on another half day of the timetable ...........

*hugs*

Of course it was too good to be true.  I thought I had a respite of a couple of weeks before the madness of a new huge project at work swallowed me up, but nope, first day in after completing the last mammoth piece of work and already I have had to start on the next.  Just waiting now for the adrenalin to kick in and carry me through - either that or I'm just going to have to get really fat on cake  :)

Tried to watch SGA 2.11 (The Hive) the other night but the same thing happened like the 2 SPN episodes I mentioned in an earlier post - plays fine on the computer, no problems at all, but when I transfer to CD to watch on the TV, it's all one big blurry, multi-coloured mess  :/    Anyone know why?  It's annoying - I like watching all my stuff on my large TV, not my computer - fussy, yeah, but hey, what's the point having a huge TV otherwise  ;)

I managed several miles on the bike at the gym yesterday (along with all the other stuff I did) but I still can't get the hang of the stepper.  WHY?  It's bloody frustrating and a little embarrassing - I see other people on there doing it fine - me, I just look like an idiot and have to give up.

Mmm ... suppose I should be getting on with this project as I'm at work right now!  :P

*hugs*

PS ... I love this icon, which is by [profile] crecd060   :)
