Of course it was too good to be true.  I thought I had a respite of a couple of weeks before the madness of a new huge project at work swallowed me up, but nope, first day in after completing the last mammoth piece of work and already I have had to start on the next.  Just waiting now for the adrenalin to kick in and carry me through - either that or I'm just going to have to get really fat on cake  :) 

Tried to watch SGA 2.11 (The Hive) the other night but the same thing happened like the 2 SPN episodes I mentioned in an earlier post - plays fine on the computer, no problems at all, but when I transfer to CD to watch on the TV, it's all one big blurry, multi-coloured mess  :/    Anyone know why?  It's annoying - I like watching all my stuff on my large TV, not my computer - fussy, yeah, but hey, what's the point having a huge TV otherwise  ;) 

I managed several miles on the bike at the gym yesterday (along with all the other stuff I did) but I still can't get the hang of the stepper.  WHY?  It's bloody frustrating and a little embarrassing - I see other people on there doing it fine - me, I just look like an idiot and have to give up. 

Mmm ... suppose I should be getting on with this project as I'm at work right now!  :P

Sorry to hear that there is no rest for the weary! I feel your pain, as I'm in the midst of the "job from hell" that won't go away and I never would have taken it in the first place had I known what I was in for...sigh.

As for the stepper - those things are terrible for your knees, so stay away from that machine!!!! Use the bike and treadmill, but don't go near the stepper unless you want advanced arthritis. BTW, it takes time to build up endurance and it sounds to me like you're doing great if you can do several miles on the bike, so just pat yourself on the back and keep doing your routines. I'm proud of your effort!

Now, for the episode that won't play on the TV. How are you burning it? Do I need to send you a program that will convert the episode into a watchable format? It's undoubtedly a codecs issue. Nero has options that allow you to burn an .avi or .mpeg to either a TV-ready S-Video CD or DVD. If you don't have a similar program, that's the problem. Let me see if I can locate where to download Nero. If I can't find it, I'll try to send you a disk.

Keep your eyes focused on that vacation and stay on your guard! We want you in one piece and of sound mind so we can play with Pinnacle together!!!

What's frustrating is that they all play absolutely fine on the computer, perfect picture. Just a couple of the SPN episodes and now this SGA episode that won't transfer to CD without turning into an unwatchable mess :/

All I'm doing is copying them and pasting them to the CD in the drive - like I say, works for the vast majority of the episodes I've burned, just not these 3:

SGA - 2.11 - The Hive
SPN - 1.04 - Phantom Traveller
SPN - 1.16 - Shadow

But so far I've burnt all the others and watched them on the TV (data CD) no problem.

Meh.

Still, I guess that's not too bad a statistic, and I'm just being fussy, cos I can watch them fine on the computer, so why am I whinging? :P

It's amazing, when you think you've used up all the energy you thought you had, you find that you have a little more. Hopefully that'll be the case for you. Or yes, lots of chocolate and cake. ;) I'm going for coffee and chocolate.

And go you with the gym! I am most proud of you. I should do the same but I am so fuckin' lazy. Must stop that.

Words and I have a bond dude. An unbreakable bond. Like uhm... Yeah, some cliche. Can't think of one at the moment. :P

And I have a dog that goes crazy whenever we put zee treadmill on. Seriously. It's crazy. *gets an idea* Though... Though, he runs around like a mad dog when it's on. Exercise for both of us!

Vala just annoyed me. Don't know why - but I kinda watched the first half of season 9 by walking in and out of the room! The Boy was watching it and I was kinda wandering about. I will give it another go at some point though :)
