I promised some of you I'd try to post more, so here, have some whining about how I'm still sick and some pictures of trees. And other things:


1) sick: Yes, still. Saw my GP on Wednesday and she says I have a viral infection. Mostly this is now just confined to my chest, so lots of coughing and rattling. She also signed me off for the rest of the week due to the noise distortion problems I'm having with my right ear (my workplace is a loud place to be) and the lack of sleep it's been causing. Had an appointment with the nurse yesterday to have my ear syringed, but it didn't work, so have to go back and try again next Thursday. Joy. So yeah, still can't hear out of that ear and my chest is still rattling like a freight train. Deb (deans_babe) came round last night and cooked me dinner, which was lovely =)

2) flist: How did you get here? Did I friend you, did we meet up somewhere else? Just curious...

3) reading: Have now read 30/50 of the paperlegends Big Bang stories! Really must focus on reading more this weekend, and not keep going back to re-read other favourites on my Delicious bookmarks. Like I did yesterday. Right. Am opening another BB story right now...

4) forest: Deb and I took a group of service users out rambling Tuesday afternoon to Rhinefield, on one of the Tall Trees walks, so here's some random photos for you:

Trees! I love trees, and those tall ones are amazing. We get tall trees in Michigan but not usually tall and straight like those in the 6th picture down. *stares*

I haven't been around much, I've been struggling with my stupid seasonal depression that seems to hit me earlier and earlier every year.

Kawoosh! And now you can't shake me. =)

And I understand about good stories sucking up your time. I have so many Trek fics I'm writing or have started and if I'm not sidetracked by my SAD then it's other fics written by awesome writers and then a week's gone and before I know it and I've gotten nothing done. =( Actually, can't sadface over that 'cause the stories are just too good.

And those pics are lovely. I like the small pretty tree and the path. Very nice. =)

1) The good thing is.. if you're coughing and rattling.. it's a good sign cause all the bad stuff is coming out and it's not stuck.. I'd be more worried if there was no rattling and it's hard for you to cough! Get better soon *hugs*

2) You know I actually can't remember.. is that bad? Although flicking through our mutual communities.. no doubt it was probably something Merlin related... although what I can't remember.. but now I love you for all your kooky RL posts.. you endless timetables of doom and everything else that comes along with your posts!

1) I am sorry you are feeling so poorly. I hope that what the doctors are doing helps. Coughing is one of the things I like least about getting sick. I can never sleep properly. I hope you feel better soon.

2) If I recall correctly, we met through the SG-1 fandom. You were very helpful in getting me caught up with the show when I became a fan late into the run, and I think I might have uploaded some stuff for you, but that was forever ago.

3) The trees are beautiful. You are making me want to go and take pictures while we still have some leaves on the trees. I have that color accent feature on my camera, but I have never thought to use it like that. I mostly just play with it and make pictures where the only colors accented are the cats. I am kind of a single subject photographer. :)

*ugh* - viral infections and nasty little buggers - hope the doctor's going to fix you up and you surely needed a bit of time off. *facepalm* um - that special day you have next week? I sent to your work so the postman wouldn't squash - no worries, it will keep just fine 'til you're feeling better.

We met when I was struggling getting all the links sorted for The Impala site - always getting things muddles and you were always so considerate and never once made me feel like the total idiot I was! Been here ever since...

Gorgeous pictures - we've had some bad winds up this way over the last couple of weeks and as a result most of the leaves have now fallen. I especially like the pretty tree photo, the sunbeams just look so attractive on that one.

1 - Bah! Sorry that you're still sick. What's with the two of us these days, eh? Anyway, sending you lots of hugs and good thoughts. I hope that you feel better soon!!

2 - I think we started chatting after you read/commented on one of my fics. Then I was telling you how much I loved your icons and we just friended each other. That was quite a while ago, I believe, because I'm pretty sure you were one of my earlier Merlin friends! :)

3 - You are awesome! I've been too upset about the show to read really long, angsty fics lately, but I'm hoping to keep going. You're doing SO MUCH BETTER than me, wow! ;)

4 - Oooh, those pictures are really pretty! It still looks like fall there. We got a ton of snow the other day, so winter is finally, officially here. I LOVE looking at pictures of trees when the colours have changed. So beautiful :)

Er, I think we met through you commenting on one or more of my fics? And then at some point you referred to yourself as an eejit and then we were friends and it's been delightful since. :)
