1) hospital: Got my pre-assessment date through from the hospital for October 4th. Don't know yet when the actual operation will be but last time it was within a couple of weeks of the pre-assessment, so I'm hoping it'll be quick this time too.
2) work: Am starting work on the new September timetable on Monday. Two weeks of torture again then. And I'm really hating my job right now.
3) air show: 4 days until the Bournemouth Air Festival... according to their countdown take off clock!
4) home: Spent last week taking apart and then painting Peter's bedroom as I managed to get hold of a really cheap tin of paint and decided his room was the one that needed decorating most. Spent most of this week putting it back together (including moving my piano on my own which was pretty stupid of me) and it looks lovely (I think):
Hope you're all well ♥

Are you going to that festival? =)
You moved the piano on your own? OH DEAR! But it looks really lovely!

I'm really happy with how the room looks now, just be nice to be able to afford to decorate the rest of the flat!

4) I like very much. The light coloured walls make the room look big and airy, which is needed for rooms in the eves of a house (which is where I'm assuming this room is...?) But I must also shake my finger at you: you moved a piano on your own?! I'm glad you didn't break/sprain anything. :O

It is an attic flat yes, and all the rooms have quite high but slopy ceilings; makes it quite quirky really =) I do like it better now and yes, it definitely looks bigger! I want him to let me have the room, but he won't.

Yes, not long finished the summer timetable so now it's time for the September one. Ugh.
Thanks you! ♥

Also, bad girl for moving a PIANO on your own. What were you thinking? (That sounds like the kind of stupid thing I would do!)

I was thinking 'there might be spiders in the back of there and I need to get it back against the wall RIGHT NOW'.

Aren't you sweet! I'd love to stay in that lovely room! I'm going to be working in Germany for a month, but I kinda doubt I'll have time/money to make it to the UK this trip. :( But someday I will!!
*is still laughing*

2 - *hugs* time tables of doom suck :\
3 - Can't wait to see pictures! I've been to US airshows, but the UK has different planes than we do, so I'm interested to see what planes are there!
4 - I love your flat! I love rooms that have non-flat ceilings, it makes them seem cozier to me for some reason. I guess that's why my dream house would be either a log cabin type (keeping the natural log texture on the interior walls), or maybe a geodome. So your attic flat it lovely to me :-)

I KNOW. UGH.
My camera is almsot finished - hardly works at all - but I'll link you to whatever I do find =)
They're all like that, every room; the kitchen in particular has quite a few ceiling parts to it!

3) IT IS! I've been gradually building in excitement for about a month and driving my friends crazy! They're still coming with me though =)
4) I'm a clean freak. Sad, but true.

work sounds awful. I am nearly finished with mine though. Only 4 days to go. :)
that festival sounds awesome. we had a street fair not too long ago, but the weather sucked so much, so I didn't go. now I kinda regret it, but it was pouring.
the room looks awesome! really pretty. do you play the piano?
and I haven't forgotten about your postcard, but I am swapped and I want to send you a really nice one. I am going to look for it, after next week, when work is finished.

2 - *sends love* I know how much you hate those timetables, so best of luck with that. I'm also in a very strongly disliking work phase at the moment.
3 - Don't know what that is, but sounds fun! Are you going to go to it?
4 - Oooh, looks really nice! I like the decorations and things!
Sorry I've been a terrible friend lately! I'm kind of mostly back now though *hugs tight* :D

2) I do. I really do. And particularly right now when work is so crap in general.
3) It's fantastic fun and yes, I try to go for the whole four days if I can; it's right on my doorstep being on the beach and it's just amazing. Check out the link I posted above to find out more if you're interested =)
4) Thank you, I'm very pleased with it =)
You really haven't hon *hugs hard* so nothing to apologise for.

You have a lovely flat. Nice job! And yes, you should have gotten help to move the piano. Injured backs are no fun.
Glad to read that things are progressing with your surgery.

2) Ew. Work. Bah.
3) Take pictures! I always want to go to the air show in Houston and see the Blue Angels fly, but it is always, always a weekend I work. Maybe this year...
4) I love the sloping ceiling! It makes it seem so cozy, but the bright paint makes it seem bright and happy. It's a good room. :) (Just don't move a piano on our own again, m'kay?)
*hugs*

2) Once again... good luck with the timetables! So glad it's not me doing it
3) Sounds interesting. Hope you enjoy it
4) That room looks amazing. Something the simple things, just a simple coat of white paint and a neat arrangement does wonders. I'm loving it! Wish it was my room!
