I'm so bored I'm creating work to do.  And I have to be here till 5pm.  Gah, I need something interesting to do/read/whatever!

We don't get overtime pay here, so if we work over our contracted hours we get TOIL (time off in lieu).  I usually have a fair bit but it's pretty much the same at the end of each month as I do take bits of time off here and there to keep it averaging at about 30 hours.  However, my line manager called me in yesterday to tell me I'd made a mistake on a previous TOIL sheet and actually had more TOIL that I thought.  This is not unusual, it's easy to be 30 minutes or so out each month.  Apparently not though.  In just one month I'd forgotten to carry over 14 hours.  14 hours!!  From just one month! And that wasn't even the total TOIL I'd built up that month!  She's now insisting I start taking some days off.

OK...... I'm still bored  :/
