That hospital appointment I was stressing about earlier in the month? Got to go back for another on February 19th :/ I've known this for a week or so but it 's only in the last couple of days I've started stressing, which doesn't bode well for how I'll be when it finally gets here as it's still three and a half weeks away. I am thinking about going on my own this time though and not being such a wuss, so I guess that's a positive :)

I rambled on last year about how they're building an artificial reef where I live and as a result are massively developing the area for the surfers and everyone else who are (apparently) going to flock to come and live here. Well, a lot of the development work is underway (quite a bit is finished) and although they haven't even started the reef yet, the surfers have multiplied drastically. I mean, there were always surfers there, but now there are just loads all the time. It's kinda weird really. Still, if it keep up like this then hopefully at some point I'll be able to sell my flat at a ridiculously over-inflated price and no longer be so damn poor. Yay for surfers :)

1) I know lots of people that fit the definition of a "wuss", but you're certainly not one of them! and 2) Take someone with you for company and to keep your mind off the situation - stress is never good and only compounds unpleasantness.

Poor? You mean there's some other way to live than poor? Except for my lovely 3-week vacation in the UK (which took 30 years to save up for by "nickle & diming"), all I've mostly known is poor, so I guess I'm used to it.

Here's to both of us hitting some sort of financial windfall and for 2007 taking a more positive turn!!!

I feel your pain, if only because I hate the doctors too. (I mean, you remember August...) All I can say is that you need to block it out for a little while.
