{ paper legends and camera and recs }

1) paper legends: I've spent a fair bit of the last week or so working on the paperlegends schedule and other stuff to do with the community, just getting things ready. I think it's pretty much done now and I want to post both the schedule and all the info as soon as possible (probably by the end of the week) but am holding off at the moment purely because I want to be sure it's as right as it can be.

2) camera: Thanks so much to those of you who helped me out on the camera advice post - it was really incredibly helpful. I think I've narrowed it down to this one - what do you think?

3) recs: Been a long while since I rounded up what fics I have saved on Delicious, so here's what I've bookmarked since the last time I recced. I still don't feel right about reccing any paperlegends Big Bang stories due to my close associations with the community - but also because I honestly believe they all deserve to be read - so those are not included but if you want to know which ones I've kept so far, just check out my tags on my Delicious bookmarks.

You know I posted something on the camera post and it seemed to have swallowed what I wrote... oh well... I did suggest that I liked Canon Ixus (since I have one and it took the picture that is currently my userpic). I think it's pretty good. Easy to use as a point and shoot, but if you want more complex settings, you can to some extent tweak things too.

Thank you for the Merlin fics too! Some of them look quite interesting!
