1) job fair: Went to my first ever job fair last Thursday which was quite interesting. It was absolutely packed. Didn't find any jobs that interested me, as they were mostly sales-orientated or in private care work, but it did make me then go home and subscribe to some of the online job sites, and also set a meeting with a company called Next Step in the hope that they can help me set up a CV. Will keep you posted on any developments.
2) nose: Had my follow-up nose check-up a couple of weeks ago and it's all healing nicely and I don't have to go back for another three months.
3) delicious: Much as I don't really like the new changes to Delicious, I am (for now) keeping my account there so if anyone wants to check out my Delicious tags, there's a link below. I also have accounts with Diigo and Pinboard, so links below to those too:
Delicious bookmarks | Diigo bookmarks | Pinboard bookmarks
4) percival: Peter and I were excited to see that Percival has had some actual lines in this new series of Merlin, though slightly disappointed that he doesn't talk like a Sheldon impersonation of The Hulk. See below to see what I mean:
So now, whenever Percy speaks in Merlin, Peter and I automatically translate whatever he says into Hulk talk, whilst slamming our fists together. It's highly entertaining!
5) lj: I REALLY HATE this new font they're using for writing/editing entries. It's too small and it's ugly.
Hope you're all okay; have a lovely weekend ♥

Job fair and CV update
As I've read, job-hunting is a job in itself. One just has to take it calmly and methodically and it looks you are doing just that.
Also, it's a good think to always ask friends, casual acquaintances, etc. if they know of any job openings. Story: I attended a small cocktail party one time and casually made a comment that if anyone knew a company that was looking for a (said tongue-in-cheek) smart, outgoing, hard-working person with a great telephone voice...that I was looking for a job. Well, that comment wound up leading to a job interview and position that I kept for several years. I only lost that job because the person I was working for retired. So you never know!
*HUGE hugs*
