1) nose: Saw my GP on Wednesday and she's signed me onto half-days at work for the next 2 weeks, which I was very reluctant to do initially, but am kind of grateful for now as I'm just really, really tired all the time still. Just got my date through from the hospital to have the splints removed, though it's not until Wednesday 29th June. I will be so glad when they're out, they feel so weird.
2) movies: Went to the cinema on Friday with Peter and saw Green Lantern. Man, that Ryan Reynolds is pretty. Peter told me to watch Definitely, Maybe as it had RR in, so I did that this afternoon. Also watched Buried yesterday, which I kind of wish I hadn't. Finally saw True Grit last night, which was just amazing, loved it. Keep thinking every day about going back to the cinema to see X-Men again even though it won't actually happen =)
3) postal: Just a general reminder that if you want to, you can leave your postal address here and you might, sometime, get a card or whatever. It's flocked and screened so no-one will see.
Hope you're all okay ♥

I am glad, that you are taking care of yourself and that you'll work only half days for a while. I heard, that X-Men is supposed to be a good movie, but I haven't seen it yet.
Get better soon, my dear muppet! *hugs*

My, you've been on quite the movie kick! Of course, I'm not one to talk.... I've watched all the Star Trek: TNG movies in the past week - for the first time. I ♥ Patrick Stewart. So dashing :-) I would totally want him if he was about 45 years younger! I'm torn between Kirk and Picard - who to love more?! Picard has the accent going for him, but Kirk has some muscle tone... hmm. I'm now watching all of The Next Generation, since I've seen the original series in it's entirety.
**more hugs** Keep on feeling better and better hun!

Picard beats Kirk ;)
Am going to continue resting and watching movies before having an early night (again!) I think =)

I AM ALIVE
So I'm just going to play a bit of catch up and leave you a slew of comments.
1) I totally missed everything nose related (because I am a lame friend), but I'm so glad things were looking up at this point. I'll read on to find out more!
2) My movie thoughts: Green Lantern was better than expected but not fantastic. Ryan Reynolds totally made up for all the meh parts. He is both hot and funny. Definitely, Maybe was adorable, but I purposely missed Buried. (As a kid, I had nightmares I was being buried alive. No joke.) True Grit was kind of depressing, but Hailee Steinfeld (sp?) was brilliant. And X-Men was FANTASTIC.
3) I have a package ready to send you! All I need to do is make it to the post office...

Re: I AM ALIVE
Where have you been?! And is this a temporary visit or are you actually back?
Thanks for all the comments I woke up to this morning! Glad you're all caught up now =)
Did you get the postcard I sent you, and I sent a small package too, I think?
Also, you should know that Peter and I (mostly Peter) finally ate the Girl Scout cookies you sent when we were at the Air Show this weekend - we did what you said (well, Peter did) and put them in the freezer until then, and they were lovely, so thank you =)
