1) me: Had a couple of not-so-good days this week with both pain issues and problems with some of the medication I was taking (you wouldn't believe the amount of medication they sent me home with) but having spoken to the Sister at the hospital and to a local pharmacist, things are getting better now. My nose is actually more swollen than it was at the beginning of the week, but I think that's mostly due to the changes in meds I've had to make. I also had to chase up the hospital for the date for the stitches and steri-strips to be removed as they still hadn't contacted me, and they've now booked me in with my surgeon to have these removed on Monday at 9.45am. The swelling has gone down enough at the front of my nose that I can actually see the splints inside which are holding it together, which is kind of weird. Those splints have to stay in for a month, whereas the external stitches and steri-strips are supposed to be removed after a week.

2) paper pushers: Have done an artist cheerleading post today on [livejournal.com profile] paperpushers so if you're participating in the Big Bang and are a member of that community, please check out any artists requesting cheerleaders and see if you're able to help out? Thank you =)

3) thank you: I just want to thank you all so much for your comments to my last post, and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you at the time; I've been sort of building up my time on the computer what with feeling pretty rough this week. I'm really so very grateful to have such a wonderful flist; you're amazing ♥ I'm going to try harder (which I know I say all the time!) to be a better poster/flister, I promise.

Hope everything is good with all of you ♥

I'm glad you got the med situation sorted. Sometimes certain meds just don't like to mix with certain people very well :-( I know it's that way with me and a few meds! **hugs**

That's...that's a very disturbing image indeed... No where near as disturbing though as them not making arrangements to take all the stitches and stuff out...Yikes!

Sounds like you've had a bit of a horrible time with the meds, but I'm glad some of it is getting a bit better now.

And hey, no worries about not being a good flistie and what you seem to think all that entails ok? You is way up there at #1 for me.

Sorry to hear you have medications woes, but I'm glad they're mostly sorted. Medication can do weird things to people. *hugs*

I got my best warm&fuzzy healing thought waves going out to you. Hope you can feel 'em.

And so quit saying you're a bad flister. You're looking at someone who has been posting nothing but youtube links of late and only when I can be bothered. Ha!

I'm glad to hear your medication has been sorted and you're doing better now :)

You just take your time to heal and do everything you're supposed to do *stern look* :D And don't worry about "trying harder". You're a wonderful flister ♥ I'm very happy to be part of your little corner on LJ *hugs*
