1) work: Work still sucks. I've booked 4 days off at Easter, which is actually a lot for me (I usually just book odd days off here and there) and what with the Easter bank holidays, I actually get 10 days off though I only need to book 4. Not bad really.
2) h5o: I still need some H5O recs that focus on Steve/Danno first time, or them getting together, so any of those recs would be much appreciated. I've not read much H5O yet and would like to read more, but I think reading a couple of 'first time' fics first would help me get into it more. If that makes sense.
3) paper legends: First mandatory writer check-in this Friday so we'll see how many of the 183 writers who signed up are still in it!
4) shows: I am so far behind on most of my shows right now. Am up to date with H5O (obviously), and have just watched the last two episodes of Being Human which were fantastic and I am so glad I stay spoiler-free for everything as those last two episodes I was literally on the edge of my seat for!
4) daffodils: Some daffodil pics I took a week or so ago, to (hopefully) brighten your morning:
Hope you're all doing okay; boring entry is boring ♥

One of my flisties writes H50.
Man.. that was all particularly useless info wasn't it?! /o\
Hope you find some fics hun. :)
I haven't watched any Being Human yet - but it's on my list of shows to watch. I've heard it's very good.
Yay for Easter holidays!

I'm on the H5O newsletter which links to loads of fics, but I specifically want some first-time ones, rather than having to trawl through them all, so I'm hoping someone can rec something =)
Being Human is fantastic and I'd highly recommend it - try and stay spoiler free too, it's always better that way.

Don't mind me... it's clearly getting too late for me to think straight.
And I will stay spoiler free - thanks for the heads up. :)

There are a few H5-0 fans on my flist, I'll see if anyone has been posting recs, but I think I remember someone saying that this fandom is one of the few that seems to be mainly on the Archive of Our Own - I might be mistaken though - I'll link you if I find any.
And hey, look what a lot I had to say to your "boring" post - tch - stop that! Always nice to know how you are...

I just had a comment above saying to check out AO3 so I'll definitely do that later, and if you come across any yourself I'd love to have them; thank you =)

Sadly, I had a quick load up of the stories, but they don't say if they're fist time or not, sorry, I think there are a couple on there from A03, might give you an author to search through.

OMG! Those are some UTTERLY fantastic daffodils! They are starting to blossom over here as well. When I go back to work, after my trip to Birmingham, I'll take some pictures for you, they are EVERYWHERE! ♥
Love you! ♥

I'm not good with having a lot of time off (yes, I know I'm weird) but with work and life in general being what it is right now, I'm kind of looking forward to it.

PS Thank you for using one of my own favourite icons! I have made SO MANY M/A ones but that cap has always been one I've loved most =)

H50, etc....
I don't read H50 fic but I like this writer's other fandom stuff:

Sorry for the not-so-neat, no-nice-embedded links comment but I'm doing this in the text box.
Daffys are lovely!
Did I step over the line? :-/

Re: H50, etc....
Not at all, and I'm so sorry you'd think that - my fault totally that you do, I know I should have got back to you sooner after that comment, and I will, I promise. Just, the situation (as you know) makes it difficult sometimes to even do simple things like emails, etc. I'm really sorry and also really grateful for the input you gave me.

Love the Daffodil pictures! They are some a my favorite types of flowers. My mom grows them in the garden, and I always look forward to them sprouting. Seeing them pop out of the ground always marks the true beginning of spring for me :-)

I stil have that mini daffodil you sent me, forever ago, you probably don't even remember! It's pressed inside one of the large pictures hanging on my bedroom wall =)
