1) icons: I've made a huge load of icons in the last week or so. Have kept 84 and deleted at least as many again. Hoping my icon-fu is back this time. For some stupid reason I always think Thursday will be a popular day to do my icon posts, comments-wise. Will post them tomorrow and we'll see, I guess.
2) reading: Set myself a target of reading 3 of the

3) bathroom: I now have a bathroom ceiling again. The freeholder, as I've mentioned before, is a pig of a man who insisted he wouldn't claim it on the insurance but would get his handymen to do it and that they would only plasterboard it and basically just 'make it right'. I know his handymen though and get on well with them, and they have now also plastered and artexed it and said they'll try and come back and paint the whole bathroom. Before and after pics:
4) halloween: Halloween is my favourite holiday. I spent years and years taking my little brothers trick-or-treating but now they're all way too old for that, I'm instead looking forward to this weekend of pumpkin carving and horror movie watching with Peter. Usually at work I'll also get to do some pumpkin carving with the service users, but there's not been time this year, and Peter says he want's me to carve a 'traditional' pumpkin this year i.e. triangles for eyes and a zig-zag mouth. As I told him, he is stifling my creativity, and below are the pumpkins I carved at work last year as proof:
Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween weekend ♥

1) ICONS YAY!
2) I still haven't read any of the BB fics. I feel like a bad person. But yesterday while sitting in traffic (AGAIN), I got this sudden overwhelming urge to reread the fic from last year's BB where Merlin's magic is discovered and there is like this magic proof room and manacles or something? Which one is that? I need to make time for that this weekend.
3) I had no idea you were having bathroom ceiling issues. I missed a lot while on vacation. I'm glad it's all being sorted out, despite the other person.
4) I actually kind of hate Halloween. I'm not sure when that happened, because I used to love it. Now I just like the candy and pumpkins. Clearly I need you to kick me into the spirit! Your jack o' lanterns are fabulous, by the way. Love the witch on the end.

2) THAT WAS MY FAVOURITE ONE FROM LAST YEAR! I'll send you the link later ;)
3) I've been posting about it since it happened last November! *hugs you*
4) I've always loved Halloween, I suppose because I always got to spend it with my little brothers and they always had such a great time. Christmas I've always ben a bit whatever about, mostly because I spend it on my own. For the first time ever this year, though, Peter will be with me Xmas day, which will be lovely =)
CARVE A PUMPKIN! IT'LL MAKE YOU HAPPY!

Train from London would be easier, it's 2 hours from London straight through to Bournemouth. I wouldn't want to drive it, too complicated and would take far longer than 2 hours. Up to you though, of course =)

3) Wait, really? Then I guess I probably did know about it. My memory, it is going! Now I'm really glad it's being sorted. What a hassle home repairs are.
4) See, and my family is just the opposite. Thanksgiving and Christmas are a huge deal, but Halloween isn't all that important. So I always just want to skip right over October and move on to November and December.
My friend is having a pumpkin carving party tomorrow! I may carve a pumpkin for the first time in, wow, years and years!
*hugs and hugs*

I don't have an all-time favourite fic, but if I absolutely had to pick, say, 5 then that would be there =)

To put you on the spot: WHAT ARE YOUR TOP FIVE MERLIN/ARTHUR FICS. (For the purposes of this question, lets imagine I have a gun to your head or something evil like that.) I'm kinda wondering if there's anything else I've missed...

Here's my tag of Merlin recs, and if you scroll down a little there's a whole heap I recced in April. And another big fic rec dump in January too.
Other than that, you should check out my Delicious bookmarks, and there's quite a variety of tags there to help you narrow it down =)
But. That's not really helpful to you right now so.... off the top of my head here's some I'd tell you to read RIGHT NOW if you haven't already:
Two Weeks Notice
There's No MakeBelieving
What's a Boy To Do...
Lovestruck (love this a stupid amount)
Think Less and See it Grow
Lemon Meringue
Enough for now? If you've read all them, let me know and I'll try harder.
OR! Come stay at Hotel Muppet sometime and spend time laying around eating chocolate and browsing through these:
