1) Today was my last day at work for a week! I hardly ever take a whole week off and it feels great. Plus I managed to get all the cover done for the days I'm off before I left, which was not an easy thing to do this time.

2) My manic cleaning frenzy is (almost) finally over because...

3) ...dazzlebug will be here tomorrow and is staying until Tuesday =) And the Wednesday (which is my last day off) will MOST DEFINITELY be spent catching up on reading some of the many M/A fics I have saved. FINALLY!

4) We will be spending some of our time (I'm sure) lounging around on the beach and ogling surfers. I will also (of course) be introducing her to the wonders of Merlin and Fringe, both of which (of course) she will love.

5) I have a shiny new poster in my office at work which not only makes me smile but also reminds me not to let any of that ridiculous work crap get to me so much =) It has the added bonus of making me think happy Merlin/Arthur thoughts thanks to this story: Keep Calm and Carry On by chibirhm which is bloody marvellous.

6) There's only 21 days until the Bournemouth Air Festival!

All of these things are making me happy right now and this in turn makes me want to tell you just how much I appreciate my flist, despite my lack of interaction a lot of the time. Reading your entries makes me smile, getting your comments makes me smile, and I'm glad to have each and every one of you here.

A week of work... god, I envy you so much. I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, you know? Over here, there is no such concept as weekend or sunday or waking up after 5am. I'm feeling the pain.

PS: Sorry to have to bring this, but you are the person to help me. I remember ages ago, reading a story where SG-1 goes to this planet and Jack and Daniel fight and then they give this tea thingy to Jack (thinking he was Daniel's slave, I think) which compulses him to have sex with Daniel and it doesn't leave his body, because it would have been visible in his urine and... I can't seem to find it. At the end, the answer was to have sex before the compulsion, and everything. Do you happen to remember it?
