1) computer: Turns out my new computer had a faulty graphics card, so Brian's sent that back and we're now waiting for them to do their tests and send another so he can reinstall everything. Probably looking at another week at least until I get the computer back from Brian, so am again relying on the work laptop and Peter's laptop when he's with me at weekends. So it's all good and I'm lucky to have that back up option =)

2) gym: Deb and I went and checked out the FitSpace gym and had a tour and it's GREAT. You just can't beat £10 a month so we signed up and have our induction this evening.

3) beach: Spent most of Saturday afternoon down the beach with my nephew Josh. Knackered and sunburnt by the time I got home! Really enjoyed being out though and even went paddling in the water with him. See, I CAN go out but only if I have someone with me. Ridiculous, I know.

4) car boot: Going back to the car boot sale this Sunday, at Peter's insistence. He's quite excited about making more money and I'm just hopeful I don't actually lose money again. Who loses money at a bloody car boot sale? Me, apparently. Have found another site called Magpie where I can sell my CD's if I can't sell any at the car boot sale; they only give you something like 30p per CD, but it all adds up and at least it's a guaranteed sale, unlike the car boot malarkey.

5) paper legends: Only a week now until the first writer check-in over at paperlegends and also a week until cheerleader sign-ups close. We could definitely do with more cheerleaders signing up (I'm already cheerleading 3 people as well as running the Big Bang!) so if any of you are interested in being a cheerleader please go here or alternatively, please feel free to pimp the request out to anyone you think might be interested; thank you!

1) It's good to know what the problem is and I've been without a computer for a little while now so I don't mind waiting =)

2) £10 a month is ridiculously cheap and I can't wait to be able to go to the gym regularly again!

4) Well I actually lost money last time (made £5 and it cost £6 to get in) so I can't do worse than that, right? =)

Oh love, I'm so sorry you're still having computer woes. That's awful! *cuddles* I'm glad you have at least some access but that stuff is so frustrating.

The gym sounds like a brilliant thing tho! That's ridiculously cheap!

It's vry frustrating but I'm pretty resigned to it. Will be weird when I can actually have it back as it's starting to feel like I've been without my own forever now.

It IS ridiculously cheap and I'm hoping it'll help me in all sorts of ways, not least my agrophobe tendencies!

1 - Dude, how unlucky about the graphics card :P. I'm glad you have the back-up though, and hopefully this is the last time you'll have to give up your laptop for any extended period of time in a VERY long time!

3 - Beach sounds nice. It's been beautiful this past week but unfortunately I haven't been able to get out. I'm glad you were able to go and that you had a good time *hugs*

5 - Dude! Writer's check-in in a week, you say? Well, good thing I've got 9,000 words written already, and will probably have at least 12k by this time next week, if all goes according to plan :D. I'm sooooooo glad I started already, because I'm slow with writing long fics, and at least I can take my time and hopefully do it well the first time! :D

BTW, was Fringe not the GREATEST THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE?!?! It's the BEST season finale I have seen of a show in a loooooong time :D

The induction went well and we have a (free) session with the personal trainer booked in for next week. SCARY!
