1) computer: I got my new computer back from Brian this morning and it's sat in the back of my car waiting for me to take it home after work, but honestly, I just feel physically sick now at the thought of it and all excitement appears to have vanished. I'm sure it's just the reality of the finances killing my buzz, and I'm sure too that my excitement will kick back in once I've got it home and set up, and can start rebuilding everything I've lost. Busy weekend then.

2) visitor: dazzlebug is coming to stay at the end of July (did I mention this before?) and I'm really looking forward to it, we had so much fun last time she stayed and it'll be great to be able to catch up properly again... and get her hooked on Merlin and Fringe, of course.

3) paperlegends: Writer sign-ups for paperlegends close today. It's been manic enough over there already but I guess the work will REALLY start now and I'm already signed on to cheerlead 3 of the writers who've signed up! Thanks again to all of you who've been so supportive with this ♥

I've noticed a similar pattern - my computer dies and I'm crushed, I can't wait to get a new one, and then when it's here all the haste disappears and I'm sort of reluctant to jump back to the treadmill and re-install everything *again*... but then I get started with it and soon enough it's lovely and shiny and so blessedly uncluttered that I actually hesitate to add anything to mess it all up :)
