1) paper legends: I am so happy with how

paperlegends is doing! Despite the late start there have been an INCREDIBLE number of sign-ups so far and I'm just totally amazed and so bloody happy! Some of the summaries are just incredible and I really hope they get written... like the one with Merlin as a mild-mannered greengrocer, amongst many, many others which have me very excited =) To all of you who've pimped this BB, joined the comm, signed up, offered help, been supportive: THANK YOU ♥2) car boot sale: Did my first ever car boot sale yesterday, obviously with the hope of making some money to put towards a new computer. I MADE NOTHING. Seriously. I kept trying to blame the weather and lack of people and whatever, but my friend Nichola and my brother both at least made some money. Actually, it's not true to say I made no money. The truth is I lost money. Oh yes. I actually made £5 and it cost £6 to get in. Do you now see what I'm talking about when I refer to the fact that I am cursed? Through my not posting much at all the last few months, you don't know the half of it, but believe me when I tell you that luck these days avoids me like the plague. You have to laugh though, right? So I choose to laugh.
3) reading: It's a Bank Holiday here today and I am determined to catch up on some fanfic reading. Sadly a lot of the stuff I had bookmarked to read is lost now with my computer dying, and I don't even remember what I had bookmarked on there. Still, the last couple of weeks I've been saving fic links on my webmail so am going to try and read some of those today. I believe I have earnt a day of shamelessly doing nothing but indulging my love of fanfic, so that's what I'm going to do. With much chocolate to sustain me, obviously.
4) work: Have a crazy busy week at work this week which involves driving many, many miles for meetings (Tues & Weds) and a days training (Thurs). The meetings were my suggestion and I'll probably be quite heavily involved in the training but ugh, going to need to find some energy from somewhere.
5) postal: There are a few new flisters here now and some of my older flisters have moved recently, so if you want to could you please check out the postal addresses post and check/add your info? Thanks =)

How HAVE you been?!?! Are you still doing those crazy timetables? Or have you moved on? *gives super-dooper caffeine filled, chocolately, sweet energy cake*
Anyway congrats on such a sucessful start up with paperlegends! I had no doubt it would have taken off.. especially with you at the helm! As for the car boot sale.. ah well, we all have our gains and losses, maybe next time... if there is a next time!

I've always wondered if the car boot sales and stuff like that are actually worth it. I guess some people have to make some money because they keep going back, but I think I would end up right there with you, losing more than it costs.
I hope you had a good Bank Holiday :) I've been there so many times, losing my to-read -list because of some computer trouble... I try to comfort myself that at least most of my old favourites are safe at delicious and that really good fics tend to get recced over and over again, but I'm sure I've lost many jewels along the way nevertheless.

I'm a bit gutted I lost the fics I had bookmarked to read, but at least it was only 7 or 8 and I have more now saved on webmail to keep me going =)
