1) cd-drive: My IT guy friend is back from holiday and has ordered me a new CD-drive which he'll be installing in in my computer in the next couple of days. Fingers crossed that it works...
2) scan: My hospital scan date is through for next Friday, 2nd October.
3) criminal minds: Does anyone know when the UK release date is for S4? I know it's been released in the US but I imagine shipping from there to here would be fairly steep and I want to add it to my birthday list.

purplella and surfer_buoy on Sunday 5th October as they're stopping at mine overnight on their way to their parents. Although it's only one night I can't even begin to tell you how much I'm looking forward to seeing both of them.
5) stuff: Not in the best of moods the last few days. Various stupid reasons. Work isn't helping much either at the moment. On a brighter note, I'll today send out a variety of cards/small things to some of you - belated thank you's, random hellos and stuff like that. Despite the fact that I'm a crotchety bag right now, please believe me when I tell you that each and every one of them is sent with much love ♥

3 - No idea, unfortunately. Sorry. Even though I don't think shipping from the UK is all that bad (I pretty much order everything from the UK now, LMAO!)...it'll probably be WAAAY cheaper to buy it locally anyway, with the conversion of money and all.

3) I'm reckoning it'll probably be months but just wanted to chekc if anyone actually knew - thanks anyway.
4) Those two are RL friends who used to live near me but movced away a couple of years ago - I don't see them nearly as much as I'd like and this time's been the longest as I've not seen them since the beginning of January. I honestly can't wait.

Oh - any idea yet (no pressure, honest) if you will be coming for a visit, and if so, rough idea when?

Okay so, I'm thinking that it would be best for me to come down in the first week of November, if that's okay? With the way my days off work, I'd actually need to do it from a Monday to a Monday, say the 2nd to the 9th (I only have four days left, and my days off are Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. If I did Sunday-Sunday, I'd end up having to take five days which is one too many)? Does that sound okay? I'd have just gotten paid, too, which would be better than last time when I was totally broke, haha!
What do you think? Let me know if those dates are good for you and if so, I'll rattle off an email and request those dates. No one else has any annual leave booked then so it seems like a good time.
