I wasn't going to post any sort of review/reaction for any of these as so many other people are already doing so and clearly do it in a much more articulate way than me - but having spammed so many of your posts this morning I felt I just had to say this:
Ianto is not dead.
Not. Dead.
I will not accept that. Except I may have to when tonight's episode is over. *sighs* Until then, I remain in my bubble of denial, rocking back and forth and repeating the above.
As for Jack - I'd like to smack him hard for not being able to say 'I love you too' as Ianto lay dying in his arms. WTF?
Lois = all kinds of awesome.
...
And finally - Ianto is not dead.
Okay, that's all.

I said before this series (actually, I said it while the second series was on lol) that if Ianto died I probably wouldn't watch it anymore. Not because I'm a crazy Jack/Ianto 'shipper and that's all I care about in the show (I do - did? ship them though), but because Ianto is my favourite character and he adds so much to the show that without him, for me there is no reason to carry on watching.
It took me an hour of debating with myself whether or not to go and read spoilers for the last episode, I ended up reading them. Not saying anything though.

So until 10pm tonight when it's all over, I'll continue to believe he isn't dead.

Exactly, I get the need for drama and everything, and I know that the writers or RTD or whoever say that Gwen is the heart of the programme, I like her, don't get me wrong, but for a lot of people, that's so wrong. Ianto is the heart of it for me.
Oh well, I'll see how tonight's makes me feel.

He is the heart of the show.

Jack! I'd like to smack him, too! Why, Jack, why? I didn't understand that at all :(
I actually cried last night after watching it. But I'm with you: deny deny deny!!!

And Jack needs to get on his knees and beg Ianto for forgiveness (when he turns out to be alive after all) for being a bit of a jerk.

I cried so much last night. I mean, I cried more than when I found out Colby was a Chinese Spy! And then I stopped crying and was laying in bed, started thinking about it and then started all over again! My poor Ianto!
I don't know. I just don't know. I didn't think RTD had it in him to kill off Ianto!

He needs to be not dead. Somehow. They need to put it right.

I can't believe Jack wouldn't give him that, the words. I bet he's never said them, and at least Ianto never said them in canon, so, yeah. At the very least Ianto died in Jack's arms and knowing that Jack wouldn't forget him. That hurt too, the idea that in a thousand or two thousand years, you would be forgotten by the most important person in your life. That made me cry, damn it. *sniff*
I haven't watched Episode 5 but I was told everything important that happens, and I don't think I'll watch it for a good week or two. I don't think I can handle the pain, you know? The mere idea... no, I'd rather just not know and think of Jack and Ianto running around the Hub, playing naked hide and seek. How about that_

Your idea of the Hub naked hide & seek sounds like a much better canon theory to me to be left with =)
