Random update.

1. Had a pretty lazy weekend. Mostly because I seem to have no energy for anything lately, which is getting slightly annoying. Went to bed ridiculously early Saturday night and slept for 12 hours. 12 frickin hours. *sighs* Then spent all of Sunday still feeling tired so mooched on the couch all day marathoning Fringe - which actually is a pretty good way to spend a day =)

2. Been avoiding Photoshop for days as I just don't have any inspiration whatsoever. Until today that is - been working on new icons since I got home and so far, I'm really, really happy with them =) Then I remembered that this is just the same routine I go through every single time - I'm always happy with the first few I do - all random ones like a couple of stock, a couple of text, a couple of Colin, etc - and then it goes downhill from there =) Actually said I'd make someone a Friends Only banner too, which I've not done before, so I need to stop playing and making pretty boy icons *lol* and get on with that really =)

3. I had a surprisingly good day at work today. Surprising because I'm in the middle of a Timetable of Doom mini-update which generally leaves me wanting to rock in a corner whilst talking to myself. It's not a complete rewrite though and it's pretty much done now - the next big Timetable of Doom malarkey will come in June when I have to put together the summer timetable that'll run from about June-September - expect much cursing and whining then, okay? Also - 4 years next month that I've been doing this particular job role. How still sane? No frickin idea.

4. Also the weather is darker and colder today than it's been in days and this too makes me very, very happy =) You're thinking freak, right? What you mean is unique - they sound the same, you're just getting your words mixed up =)

5. I've not been reccing any Merlin fics lately which I feel I ought to as I've read so much, so for now - if you're wanting Merlin recs - just go check out my Delicious bookmarks - which are pretty much up-to-date and very well tagged since I organised them last week! Enjoy =)

awww! i've been makings lots of olivia icons lately [i <3 her]. i should post them instead of putting it off because i haven't turned all my screencaps into icons yet.

I'd always found her a little annoying - her voice really grated on me - but she's kinda grown on me having marathoned them yesterday. I think a lot of the problem with Fringe is how many breaks they've had between episodes, it's made it sort of hard to keep up with it.

You should definitely post some icons, yes =)

hmm, interesting. i pretty much loved olivia from the first moment on, and i actually find the way she talks really appealing.

ugh, tell me about the long breaks! i actually went to dig up some info today that i had only vaguely remembered [about olivia's father and the birthday cards] because i felt it might be important to the last two eps.

I'm certainly picking up more stuff that I missed from first time round - plus I'm enjoying being able to actually spot The Observer this time!

I also only found out today that she got married at Xmas to the guy that played John Scott - though i expect you knew that =)

oh yeah! i hope they follow up on the observer storyline. i really liked the ep where they find the kid. what else did you realize while re-watching?

i did :D. it surprised me because i didn't think they had much chemistry on screen.

I don't think they had any chemistry either, though maybe they met before this?

Just little bits and pieces really - nothing major - like I just kept forgetting the stuff about Loeb - but once you watch them all together (without all the ridiculous hiatus breaks) it's so blatantly obvious.

maybe! i'm glad that olivia is unattached at the moment because i find it so tedious that american tv always has this drive to squeeze in romance where it doesn't belong. there's clearly ust between olivia and peter, but i hope they'll keep it at the current level of mutual interest, esp. because i quite like them as friends.

oh, interesting. i think they showed a lot of eps in a row in the fall to get people hooked and then didn't have many eps left of the season for the spring. hence the ridiculously long breaks.

With the continual (or so it seemed) breaks, you just lose the thread of it really, and I think with a show like this you need to be a bit more regular to continually build the momentum. I loved it anyway, but am certainly enjoying it more now seeing them back to back like this.

I really hope they don't put Olivia and Peter together - I honestly think there's a much better 'friends' vibe there than anything else and to force a relationship would actually just be annoying and detract fromt he show overall.
