The tickets are booked! =D

\(^o^)/

On Thursday 22nd May @ 8pm - me, The Boy, [livejournal.com profile] purplella and Surfer Boy are off to see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!

The plan is to watch the other three movies first - a marathon Indy day - then go see the new one... hope this plan works!

I need to see them all...

Wait... I thought "The Boy" was the same at "Surfer Boy"

Heee! We're hoping to do the same thing. Well, not the marathon part. Perhaps dinner instead. ;) Lol.

Hope you guys have a mad time!

Coolness! I still have to arrange something with my mum. I really can't wait to see it! I hope you have a great time :)

This is awesome. You have to tell how this movie turned out. I`m waiting for it for so long already.
And to watch the old movies upfront is a great idea.
I LOVE marathon watching *g*, we plan to do it with LOTR in a few weeks.

I`m sure you`ll have a great time. *hugs*

Indy to the max

That sounds like a grand time. : D
Just curious....how much does a first-run, non-discounted ticket cost?

I want to see the list of all the junk food that will be consummed during this movie marathon. I'm sure there will be much coffee rather than beer as you all need to stay upright so you can make it through to the main event.

*hugs*

Re: Indy to the max

WEll they cos £8.50 each but there was a booking charge for each ticket cos I did it over the phone with my debit card, so actually without the booking charge the tickets were £7.70 each. Plus they're the more expensive seats cos we got what's called superior seats, which is a block of more comfy seats in the centre which you have to pay a little extra for ;)

So yeah - if they'd been regular seats - and without the booking charge - it would've cost something like £6.50 I think =)

Cost of tickets

Hmmmm. That's just a little bit shy of New York prices. I think when I went to see a movie there, the tickets were $14.00 (about £7.00).

I think the average here is about $8.00/£4.00...but we usually go during matinee times so they are a little less expensive.

We don't have the 'fancy' seats yet, but I know that some of the theaters are in the process of getting upgrades. When I was in Bangkok last, we did go to the movie there and they had reserved seating and had a section with better, more plush seats.

Oh! I thought about you yesterday when I saw an advert for M&Ms with an Indy theme. Muppet's two favorite things! : D
