1) snowpocalypse: It's never a good sign when the Met Office shades our area in red! (It was red first thing this morning - changes all the time.) This is the first time in months they've done it, despite this being our second Snowpocalypse this month:

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/sw/sw_forecast_warnings.html

The rest of the country has certainly been battered far more than us (we're usually completely sheltered here on the South Coast) and if I still had a working camera I'd show you pictures of how it looks outside right now; snow everywhere and the sky very dark. The forecasts can't seem to decide if we're getting heavy snow later or sleet and hail; either way, not good. My workplace is closed down for at least today too.

2) squee boxes: I quite desperately need new squee boxes and Amazon don't seem to have them anymore (I asked Peter to get me a couple for Christmas) so if anyone knows anywhere else I can find them, please link me? Examples of my current squee boxes below:

3) peter: This will be the first Christmas Peter has actually spent with me and I'm so looking forward to it! Am picking him up Thursday lunchtime (Snowpocalypse or not, I'll find a way) and taking him home Sunday morning. Am scheming to 'borrow' the digital camera from work since mine has died, so at least I'll be able to take some photos of our first actual Christmas together =)

Hope you're all doing okay ♥

Oh my! Good luck with the snow...

I am very happy to think of you and Peter spending Christmas together... I trust you will have the merriest of times! ♥

I know it's only a couple of days and he's all grown up now so it's not quite as exciting as it could be but still, I am excited and so looking forward to it =)

Weather reports can't seem to make up their mind if we're now going to get hit with heavy snow or heavy rain. Ugh. Hope you're okay where you are hon.

♥ muchly

Good luck with the snow!!!

I'm stressed for my guest's plane(s) for tomorrow! He comes to France via Germany. >.<

Oh! I received your card today!! But I'm being a good girl and I don't open it until my birthday!!! :D

YAY for you spending Christmas with Peter! *hugs*

I sent the card early as what with Holiday post and the weather, i wanted to be sure it arrived in good time, so I'm glad it did =)

I'm sure your guests plane will get there fine and everything will be wonderful; good luck!

I'm so happy to be spending Christmas with Peter =)

We finally got snow here too!! Well, at my house anyways (don't know about school, since I came home for the break yesterday! Yay!) What's really fun is I brought a friend home for the break. She is from Nigeria, so she hasn't ever seen snow prior to coming to the US, and this is her first big storm (more than just a dusting!) We're going sledding later, and may build a snowman :-)

Enjoy the snow, even if it make traveling a bitch!

Good luck with your flight and I hope it all goes smoothly =)

It's -8.1°C outside right now. Ewwww. =(
Yesterday I freed my car from the snow twice. The second time I did it was only a few hours after the first and there were already 10cm or more of new snow on it. Gah! And today the roads were horrible. I drove 30km (which was about the fastest I managed. Sometimes it was more lile 20km) all the way to work... even on the 'fast' roads.
I'm sure that the snow will be gone for Christmas Eve though. As always.

Have fun with your brother hon :) i hope you will share some pics :)

You guys have so much worse weather than us - we're so ridiculous down here as we so rarely get it that we just don't know what to do when we do.

Stay safe ♥

You had a snow day! How exciting! But I hope the snow holds off enough for you to retrieve Peter. I'm so glad you two will get to spend Christmas together. I'm sure you guys will have so much fun!

I'm hoping the worst of the snow will keep out of Frankfurt so that I can make it to Italy on Wednesday. (My brother and I fly to Milan via Frankfurt.) *crosses fingers*

I'm so looking forward to it!

All our 'weather' is gone now, which is what happens here!

Happy holidays lovely ♥

All our snow is gone now, which is what happens; it disappears as quickly as it comes! Good luck with your flight lovely ♥

'Squee boxes' that is a so funny name XD Be careful with the snow!!!!!

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

I do not envy you guys the snow. Nup. Brrrr! Now here we've had a lovely cool Christmas (because I cannot stand roast dinner in the heat) in the high 20's and it's just getting hot now. 35 degrees the other day and then 39, but we have the air con at least and it rained today and seems cooler again. :)

*Thinks warming thoughts your way*

Are those actually called "squee" boxes?

From: [identity profile] the-muppet.livejournal.com

No, it's just what I call them; they're regular CD storage boxes =)
