Hmm, well I'd definitely be miffed too if someone used an icon I made and altered it without asking me, plus used it without any credit. So I don't think it would be weird or arrogant of you to message the user. Also, you have it clearly stated in each of your posts that textless aren't bases. Hope it works out fine :)
