5 things.

1) My camera is fixed! I got it back from the camera shop and a guy at work took it apart to fiddle with it and... he fixed it! I owe him 4 Mars Bars apparently *lol*

2) merlin_sceneit is coming along nicely and hopefully should be good to go by the end of the week. The lovely gealach_ros has come on board as a moderator and she does an amazing job over at bradleycolin so I'm very excited to be working with her =) I've listed all the posts now and am just really proof reading them and stuff - my concern is whether they're broadly worded enough to include all creative endeavors and all areas of the Merlin fandom. My particular concerns are with the welcome post as I don't think the examples I listed are very good and also the beta request post where - again - I'm concerned whether or not the wording encompasses all creative media. If any of you guys could take a look through the posts before the community is launched and offer any concrit I'd really appreciate it =)

3) I'm starting work on the Timetable of Doom properly today. It took me two whole days just to transfer all the information I'd been given so I could actually start, but today is that day. *nervous* The way it usually goes is I'll totally get immersed in it over the next couple of weeks or so and get manic and stressy and flaily about it, then when it's about 3/4 done I'll decide it's complete and utter crap and want to tear it up and start again. That's the point you need to stop me, okay?

4) Thank you so, so much to bookwormprinces for the lovely card which arrived yesterday - and yeah, it did really make me smile ♥

5) I have a flist only post to write sometime this week about email accounts and website malarkey stuff - but you know what I'm like for waffling on so am trying to word it in a succinct way! It's something I really do need some help with though so look out for that later this week =)

Also, to purplella & surfer_buoy - if you're reading this I saw Terry yesterday and he gave me your message and I'm sorry! *hugs*

I have to post sopme pictures of thise Baywatch shacks they've now got up on the beach as they really make me lol =)

I have wanted to come visit, but I didn't want to ask until you were a little more secure financially, after all the trouble you've had this year.

You eat beans and fairy cakes though, right? Not together, obviously. Then you'll be fine =) Thought you were going to try and come to the air show? Whenever you want to come will be totally fine =)

I'll do the post this week sometime - maybe later if I get time as I'm on a half day today. Won't be much detail in it but may do an inside filter post about it when it's set up.

I did want to come for the air show but I won't be able to now--I have a feeling that things are gonna get busy for me for a while, what with being handed the rosters and such (since at this company it's a constant-ish job), and my holiday for Katie coming over starts August 30th so it might be a bit cheeky to take two lots of annual leave so close together. So I was thinking a little later, to space it all out, and then we can go shopping for Christmas cards again! \o/
