Is it just me who struggles this time of year - I certainly don't know many other people who can't stand New Year. I just find it all a little depressing. So although I'm trying my best, the last couple of weeks have certainly been a struggle for me - my moods are all over the place, but mostly down.

What's even weirder is that I seem to be having these strange panic attacks whenever people speak to me at work, which is a new thing. I'm OK as long as I keep my head down and work, work, work, but if I stop for a break, or someone comes to talk to me about stuff, I start to freak out. Weird. Plus I'm so tired - going through a period of sleeplessness (again) and I'm at the stage where my eyes really hurt and I want to throw up, I'm so damn tired.

So I think the best thing for me (and the safest thing for everyone else) would be to shut myself in a dark cupboard for a couple more weeks and wait for January to pass.
