I heard THIS on the radio yesterday and realised that maybe the gamble is going to pay off after all. A year ago I thought I was going to lose my flat, and even now things aren't great. But still, it was worth hanging on, right?
I mean, no way is my flat worth anywhere near that ridiculous amount of money, but that place they're talking about? The Point? Actually both of them, The Point and The Reef, both newly built flat complexes, are both within 5 minutes walk of my front door. And the article says even 1-bedroom properties have risen by £30,000 in the last 6 months and I have a 2-bedroom. And work has started on both the artificial reef itself and the redevelopment of the pier, which is also 5 minutes from my front door.
Anyway... I think I might get the flat valued soon. I'm still nowhere near being able to sell it, but having heard the above news I'm interested to know what impact all this redevelopment has had for me.
