Ok. My two pence worth....I like the frameless version. The 'floating' feeling is nice.
BUT...I would clean up the upper left hand corner and get rid of the bluish bits there and the little bit just below and the little bit above his right arm sleeve.
And yes, you need to work on the resizing. I would definitely make it narrower... maybe even smaller in scale relative to the page.
