1) car: I have a car now (thanks to Deb

deansbabe) - an old Peugeot 106 and it's red. Peter particularly likes that is has 'BRO' in the number plate =) It's pretty basic and I like that as I've only ever had old cars anyway. Will try and get a picture sometime for any of you that are interested in seeing what it looks like.

2) tired: I'm literally exhausted the last few weeks and that's not even a exaggeration, sadly. I have a few days off coming up soon so am desperately looking forward to them. So, so worn out right now. So much so, in fact, that I managed to lock my keys and my bag in the car this morning, and had to get the RAC to come open it up for me. Really, I'm just like a walking zombie these days.

3) tv: Been watching the first few episodes of Grimm and am quite enjoying that; still not sure about Once Upon a Time but am sticking with it. Still loving New Girl though.

4) halloween: I realised I'd not posted a photo of the pumpkins I had to carve at work for the clients, so here you go, better late than never:

Those pumpkins are FANTASTIC. My god, you're a genius. My pumpkins always look like someone stabbed them a few times and then decided that was good enough. (Basically because that's, uh, what happens.) And I'm glad to hear you've got a car -- and that it's red :) Red cars go faster. Bro!car.

My mechanic reckons this car goes like a rocket (been too nervous to put that to the test yet) so red is definitely an appropriate colour.

I need rest more than sleep, I think. I'm definitely getting enough sleep, I'm just feeling bone-tired all the damn time. Ugh.

I'm glad you have a new car :-) My family has never bought new cars, always used. (What's the point in new, really?) I'm a fan of basic cars myself... less to go wrong, and cheaper/easier to fix!

Red cars are good. Mine is red as well and I never lose it in a parking lot. :)

I hope you get some rest with your days off. I totally understand about being exhausted. I have done similar things with keys, too. I have locked my keys in the car with it running 3 times, and just a few months ago I locked my keys in the house, and had to have my landlord give me a ride to work, since my car keys were on the same chain. :(

I am watching both shows as well, but I don't know if I will stick with them. Time will tell. I give things less of a chance these days.

Those are some awesome pumpkins. When I did them as a kid they were all very standard, no imagination.

Out of the 7 cars I've had, 5 have been red, so I think it's a good sign =)

I'm just so bone-tired these days, and it's not about lack of sleep as I'm out as soon as my head hits the pillow, it's just physical tiredness, no energy, so I really need the time off now, I think, plus I'm working through Christmas too, so I need to take it easy when I can.

I agree about the shows, but I too am more choosy now about sticking with things, so we'll see.

I've been having to do pumpkins for about 20 years now, since my brothers were really little, and now for their kids, so I've improved over time and with practice!

Yay! Congrats on the car! I don't own one, but to be honest me working to work would be a teensy tiny bit nuts. No one in his or her right mind drives into the centre of Vienna with a car (would be like driving to London City or Westminster by car - equally nutso).

i know about being so tired that you can barely think straight. I left my keys in my old office ones and I was seriously lucky that some colleagues were just about to leave office when I cam back sprinting or otherwise I would have been in ddep, deep shit because none of my friends were on that day in Vienna and I wouldn't even have had a place to crash...except for some price hotel but that didn't happen.

A new little car! Yay! I've had two little red Renault 5s and I adored both of them - sure you're going to love your little Peugeot!

Have heard a little about those shows, not enough to tempt me to watch them, maybe when or if they come around on the TV.

I am so bone-tired right now, but this is my Peter weekend off so it's allocated for massive amounts of cleaning, as I have

dazzlebug arriving on Thursday, and although my house is always very clean, I tend to go a bit silly when someone is coming to stay and just blitz everything. I should really just be mooching around, but too much to do =)

Oh - and it's not the weather - I ADORE the dark and the cold and this time of year (and when it gets even darker) is when I'm happiest! I'm a weirdo.

Hehe, I couldn't possible think you're weird for liking the cold and this time of year, after all I'm the one who actually LIKES getting up at 05.30 every day. I still hate cleaning though, in all shapes and forms...

Sadly I'm a clean freak. Still, my flat might be shabby but it's clean =)

Oh, I gave up clean years ago - too many animals, too little time, too bloody LAZY! Think the last person who had the temerity to run a finger along my saved up dust had their arse handed to them at the door! Nothing to worry about if you like things clean and tidy, that's great, that's who you are, I'm very much of the whatever makes you happy school of thought, no right, no wrong, just do what you need to do.

Oh absolutely =) I'd rather NOT be a clean freak, but I think that comes from having so many years with such a small space (ie one room) to live in, so have a pathological need to keep everything clean, tidy and in it's place. Peter tells me I'm OCD. He's probably right =)

That's so very understandable, honestly I wish I could be neat and tidy or at the very least dust free, but I'm a pathological hoarder by nature and that definitely doesn't help, give me a cupboard, a shelf or a room and I'll fill it! So much stuff over the last 47 years here in this house, one of these days I'll probably have to move, not looking forward to that as cramming all this into a much smaller place? Not going to be possible, I am trying to throw away stuff, sort out what's no longer needed but it's HARD.

I've caught up on all 4 eps that have aired. And I like it a lot. Will definitely continue watching it. Someone told me it reminded them of Supernatural. I don't know about that. I tried to watch Supernatural a couple of different times when it first came out, and I could never get into it. But Grimm is a show that I can get into.
