I've just spoken to the hospital admissions and the operation is going ahead, so all being well, I'll be off to the hospital first thing tomorrow morning for the operation in the afternoon. They're not sure yet how long I'll be in, but I hope to come home either Sunday or Monday.

I've managed to get three and a half weeks of cover done for work in just three and a half days, so hopefully things will run smoothly there whilst I'm off, and the paperlegends artist/writer matching was done at the weekend so hopefully artists and writers are now starting to work together. (I was up from 6am Saturday morning until 9.30pm Sunday evening; I'm still catching up on sleep!)

Off to pick up Peter at 12pm and taking him shopping for whatever food and stuff he'll need for the weekend as he's staying at my flat on his own and my friend Deb will be on call for him and taking him home Sunday morning.

I'll leave you with this song which was my happy/silly song this weekend and which kept me sane whilst I was doing all the artist/matching work over at paperlegends. We have a Wii at work (I work at a day centre for adults with learning disabilities) and the clients love the Wii dance games! Me? I love this song and the love is increased by the fact that in the Wii version, they're sort of dressed like pirates!

Hey M.....

How did it go? I'm sure you're looking like the cousin of The Mummy by now and feeling like a lorry ran over your face. :-P But hopefully it will all be worth it and you'll be smelling the daisies in no time.

Hope you're feeling well enough to watch the ManU/Barce game. Honeybunny and I are off in a few to watch it with some friends.
