Apparently Yahoo are shutting down Delicious.

I love that place for bookmarking all my Merlin fics so ANY and ALL suggestions welcome, before I lose them all.

I've had a look at that discussion, but honestly, it's all just so confusing. Thought I'd wait till the dust settles a bit and see what the favourite to emerge is. Luckily I print out all my fics, so I won't really lose anything, but I still like to have all the links handy.

You do?! Wow, I don't have enough paper/space for doing that - though I'd love to. A favourite author from another fandom randomly deleted her account and now I'm up Shit Creek without a paddle. I can't tell you how upset I am that I lost her fics. ;____;

I've gotten onto Diigo which is looking pretty decent. Pinboard would be ideal if not for the whole payment issue.

Hoping against hope that Delicious survives though.

Well now it seems they may not be shut down, just sold off, but in the meantime I've opened accounts at Diigo and Pinboard and backed everything up just in case, so if you're one of the ones who follows my bookmarks (no idea if you are!) you don't need to worry too much =)

I think Diigo or Pinboard are the frontrunners right now (mostly Diigo) but like i say, it may not happen that they close Delicious after all. Still better to be safe and backed up =)
