3 things and 2 Merlin fic recs.

1) You remember I mentioned that my camera got dropped on the beach when I was down there with Josh recently? Well I don't know if sand got in it or it just got jarred but anyway, took it to the camera shop and the quote they got from Canon for fixing it was £125 +VAT. Wtf? So yeah, no more camera =(

2) I start a new Timetable of Doom (summer version) at work on Monday which will take maybe 3 weeks to do and needs to be ready to start for the end of June. Expect flailing and whining and the usual hissy tantrums that usually accompany this. Will need vast quantities of chocolate and Colin Morgan (preferably together) to get it finished. Srsly.

3) And talking of Colin Morgan, much as I've loved all the reports and photos and videos of the Expo (and the SoccerSix) this weekend... doesn't anyone else think Colin's looking kinda.... I don't know, gaunt maybe. Or just not well. No-one else seemed to mention it, but it really struck me when I was looking at all the pictures. I'm still crushing on him a ridiculous amount, because as you know my love for Colin Morgan is epically ridiculous. I did see one particularly lovely picture of him though, posted here by phentalon (it's the last one) who very kindly let me snag it for iconning =)

(A wonderful AU story in which the characters are fantastic and the dialogue is witty and spot-on - couldn't put it down once I'd started reading and am really hoping there'll be a sequel.)

Actually, I've seen a lot of comments (especially in this link you've sent me) mentioning that Colin is looking a bit too thin and people wondering if he's ok. I really hope it's just because he works too hard.

Actually this ToD shouldn't be too bad - it's the summer one so only has to last 10-12 weeks and overall I much prefer doing this one to the main September one - easier and not so many constrictions, so (hopefully) should be a breeze =)

I've seen a couple of people saying he's looking too skinny. I wonder if it's just he's in the middle of filming and pushing himself too hard. Or hanging out too much with Bradley who insists on going to places where there's nothing vegetarian on the menu. Bad Bradley! You have to look after your bf better! Or else give him to Muppet and she will!

Cameras are disturbingly fragile. I broke mine last Thanksgiving simply by trying to turn it on. Crazy.

I haven't seen all these pics of Colin Morgan, but I hope he's just looking thin because he's pushing himself too hard and not for any more serious reason. (Er, not that overworking isn't serious, but you know what I mean.)

I am making cookies tonight. Chocolate cake cookie sandwiches with cream cheese frosting in the middle. I will pass on through the internets to you!

I am a little gutted about the camer, but hey-ho, nothing can be done about it sadly.

He does look pretty gaunt - just really thin and not that well, bless him - though I expect it probably is overwork. Bradley really needs to take better care of him =)

I'm finishing off an icon batch right now so I'll be waiting for my chocolate cake cookie sandwiches with cream chees frosting to arrive through the internets - and I will gladly eat them for you =)

That sucks about the camera :( Not worth fixing for that price, just buy a new one at some point in the future. (Refurbished cameras are awesome!) When you do look into a new one, there's a bunch on the market now that are water/dustproof as well as shockproof (for like a 6 foot drop onto concrete.) They don't run much more than a regular one, so it might be worth getting :)

Another Timetable of Doom? You're going to need that chocolate! What's your favorite kind(s)?

It really does and no, it's so not worth getting it fixed at that sort of price - even if I did have those kinds of money to throw around.
