Hospital update and Fringe.

Andrew came out of hospital this weekend. Kinda surprised how quickly it happened, as it was only the day after they'd let him have food for the first time, and I saw him the day before that and he was still out of it on morphine. *shrugs* Still, he's moved back in with his girlfriend which is a good thing and is taking it easy. I spoke to him yesterday and although he sounds tired, he sounds okay too. He has crutches as he still can't weight-bear on his leg very well, but will be getting some physio help with that, and will be getting his staples removed at the health centre tomorrow. I'll go round and see him one day this week when he's had a bit more rest, but it's all looking good - and thank you all once again for all the support you've given and offered over the last week or so, it's meant a great deal to me =) *hugs you all*

I've watched the first two episodes of Fringe cos 1) it's got Pacey in it and 2) quite a few of you are talking about it and the premise sounded interesting and 3)... it's got Pacey in it. *sighs* I am so easily led astray... and clearly quite shallow. I enjoyed them - not loving it yet as I'm not quite sure some of the time if I should find it as ridiculously amusing as I do - but I'll certainly be watching some more =)

And that's it really. Feel sort of weird the last couple of days, just sort of not quite bleh but like I can't be bothered all that much. *sighs* I think I'm tired. Hope you're all doing well and had good weekends =)

Glad to hear Andrew is doing better.

And I don't know if you're *supposed* to find Fringe all that amusing, but I do. A whole lot. But some stuff I've read says that's kind of the point of having Joshua Jackson, because the sarcasm keeps it from being *too* dramatic and lightens it up a bit.

Which, when melting faces are involved, is usually a good idea.

Well, I was a little worried that I was snickering far too much - I hadn't read anyone on my flist saying how funny it was, just how great it was - but maybe that's what they meant! And I can see what you mean about JJ - his snark certainly does tone down the ridiculousness a bit, plus of course you're too busy watching him to notice everything that's wacky =)

I think the highlight of ridiculousness for me so far has been the eyeball trick - there are no words to describe the crazy.
