Hospital update and Fringe.

Andrew came out of hospital this weekend. Kinda surprised how quickly it happened, as it was only the day after they'd let him have food for the first time, and I saw him the day before that and he was still out of it on morphine. *shrugs* Still, he's moved back in with his girlfriend which is a good thing and is taking it easy. I spoke to him yesterday and although he sounds tired, he sounds okay too. He has crutches as he still can't weight-bear on his leg very well, but will be getting some physio help with that, and will be getting his staples removed at the health centre tomorrow. I'll go round and see him one day this week when he's had a bit more rest, but it's all looking good - and thank you all once again for all the support you've given and offered over the last week or so, it's meant a great deal to me =) *hugs you all*

I've watched the first two episodes of Fringe cos 1) it's got Pacey in it and 2) quite a few of you are talking about it and the premise sounded interesting and 3)... it's got Pacey in it. *sighs* I am so easily led astray... and clearly quite shallow. I enjoyed them - not loving it yet as I'm not quite sure some of the time if I should find it as ridiculously amusing as I do - but I'll certainly be watching some more =)

And that's it really. Feel sort of weird the last couple of days, just sort of not quite bleh but like I can't be bothered all that much. *sighs* I think I'm tired. Hope you're all doing well and had good weekends =)

Yeah, go tthe email, sorry I've not replied yet, I've been ridiculously busy this weekend and when I have been home I've just felt a bit bleh so not done anything I should have. I'll reply tonight, I promise =)

That's wonderful that your brother is back home. I really hope that he will continue to get better and physio really can do wonders. I have seen it with friends of mine.

as for Fringe, I did download it, but I haven't watched it yet. I think I will continue downloading, til I get around to watch it, and if I like it, then I will continue watching it. Pacey is a good reason to watch it though. ;) at least for now.

Eeek - that does sound rather quick, but he's probably far safer at home away from all the sick folk eh? Still, it must be real hard doing anything with staples up your middle.. ::shudder:: ..that's plain nasty. We're thinking of him anyway and wishing him all the best for a speedy recovery which I'm sure he'll have, have to agree physiotherapy and time works miracles.

So, I'm not surprised to hear you're feeling a bit - blech - it's been a hell of a time for you and you'll be a while before you get back to normal. Give yourself a break, take an hour or so and treat yourself to something you love doing but rarely have time for, even if it's just a shopping trip with a friend or a walk - take it, for yourself, you've earned it.

I couldn't believe they'd let him out so early, but I guess that's jsut the way things are with hospitals mostly nowadays, getting people out as quickly as possible. Plus he's young and strong so I'm not too worried, and I know he's being well taken care of - as long as he takes care of himself too =)

Thanks for everything hon, it's very much appreciated, and I'm sure you're right in that I'm just tired as it's been a helluva week - just need to properly get back in the swing of things again - at least I have still managed to keep up with most of the important website stuff so I've not got loads to catch up on =)

I'm glad it's not just me that finds Fringe just a little ridiculous *lol* as all I knew before I watched it was that some of my flist were squeeing over how good it - and it had pacey in, which tbh is reason enough for me to watch it =)

Re: The Fringe. I never watched Dawson's Creek, but I find the lead actor absolutely gorgeous! :) The show is insanely stupid though. And yet, they're streaming it direct here (ie. at almost the same time as the US gets it) so I will no doubt be tuning in every week to watch the cute lead guy! *joins you in the shallow* :)

Well I had some time this weekend so thought I'd check it out - cracktastically silly science and a hot guy = entertaining! =D

Supernatural premiere was fantastic! Watched it in the evening when I got home - then watched it again in bed!

It's a shame how quickly hospitals release patients anymore, that's mainly do to insurance usually. I'm glad he's doing well though :)

And I don't know if you're *supposed* to find Fringe all that amusing, but I do. A whole lot. But some stuff I've read says that's kind of the point of having Joshua Jackson, because the sarcasm keeps it from being *too* dramatic and lightens it up a bit.

Well, I was a little worried that I was snickering far too much - I hadn't read anyone on my flist saying how funny it was, just how great it was - but maybe that's what they meant! And I can see what you mean about JJ - his snark certainly does tone down the ridiculousness a bit, plus of course you're too busy watching him to notice everything that's wacky =)

I think the highlight of ridiculousness for me so far has been the eyeball trick - there are no words to describe the crazy.
