Operation

I have a provisional date for my operation. I spoke to the hospital yesterday and they say I'm booked to go in on Monday 25th June and to have the operation on Tuesday 26th June. And as the surgeon said he wanted me to stay overnight because of the previous problems after surgery, that means I'm going to have to stay two nights. Nuh. Not happy. They say I'll get written confirmation about a month before I'm due to go in so I'll wait and see if this is a definite date (thought I think it probably is) and whether I really do have to stay in for two nights.

I've also been 'persuaded' to take a couple of days off work (today and tomorrow) to just relax. Yeah, like two days will do that. Still, now I have a date for the operation I can plan around it and I'm hoping to book a proper week off before I'm due to go in.

On a random note, I've decided I need to have an icon purge cos I'm bored with a lot of these now and I want new ones. Not a lot of point renewing the paid userpics thing if I don't change them and fill it up, right?

I'm sorry I've not really updated this properly lately and I hope you're all OK :)

Those are fun, I had one last night, but it takes me forever to remember what my new icons look like, so I end up using them inapropriately :P

My problem with icons is I'm so damn fussy. Takes me forever to actually find any I like. But I'm going to have a look around and see if I can't find some new ones :)

Ah see, I'm constantly saving icons to my computer, so when I finally decide to switch them up I have a nice variety to choose from.

That's usually how I actually find my icons... I see one I like that someone uses so I go look at their userpics and then find a few I like. Nab (and credit) those ones then go see what else the person who made them has made. I can spend ages doing that :)

I mostly get mine from the newsletter and notice board, and following various links. Even if I don't end up taking any, I really enjoy looking at icons.
