1) paper legends: Been working hard on paperlegends lately and have the writer/artist matching coming up this weekend. Am hoping my head doesn't actually fly off at some point, though the way my anxiety levels are building it's a real possibility. Still, it's all going incredibly well so far and I'm so amazed at how many writers and artists are still participating =)

2) hotel muppet: Have a house guest at the moment; a guy from work who needed somewhere to stay as he's between flats. He's been with me about two weeks and is due to leave on Monday. It's been fine having him stay, just it's a bit weird sharing your space that much when you're used to being alone, you know?

3) hospital: Spoke to admissions this morning and the operation is still scheduled for May 27th so I'm a little excited today as this is the closest I've got to it actually happening! Trying not to get too excited though, considering how gutted I've been the last couple of times they've cancelled it.

4) sorry: Just wanted to apologise for my rubbishness lately, really. I hardly ever post real posts and I'm not even commenting all that much. Things are just incredibly manic the last few weeks what with paperlegends and work stuff and just trying to get everything ready/done before the operation. I'm sorry I'm neglecting my flist and I do think about you guys often and I'm ALWAYS here if you need anything, okay?

5)sweets: Thanks so much to those of you who gifted me the virtual sweets! Appropriate icon is appropriate!

Just popping in to say hi. Sounds like you've been really busy. Hope you're enjoying it. :D

I've been pretty busy setting up a comm - man, I now have an appreciation for what that actually means. Luckily I've had the most amazing peeps help me so it's been fun rather than a chore. (I'm mentioning this because I've learned a lot from being involved when you set up scene_it. Including having a private comm to discuss stuff. So... THANKS!

I can totally relate to having someone stay for a prolonged period of time being slightly weird. I had a friend stay with me who came back to Germany for a month or two, to work and then go back to Taiwan. She pretty much drove me insane tbh. We did have our good and fun times, but after the first week in my one-room 32m² flat I started to linger at work and uni and generally spend a LOT of time at friends' places and only went home to sleep. Truly hope your experience went much much better!

I think you are a great friend and since I don't comment much either, I really don't mind, because it doesn't mean, that you are not in my head. I actually think of you every Saturday, when I am watching Doctor Who, because you are fueling my addiction :)

I am glad that you are doing ok with your house guest. it's not that easy to share space, when you aren't used to it.

I finally moved out from home, so now I am enjoying having my own room and being away from my parents, because it was about time. I still have my sister around and less space then before, but that's fine, because it's great =)

2) My aunt decided to visit without warning and brought her boyfriend and dog. The house is also under construction with the roof half done (unending rain is delaying that project) and both front porches in various states of destruction. I'm about to lose my cool over the disruption of my routine. I like routine. I crave routine. I'm seriously losing my mind over all of this. In short, I feel ya. ;)

For some reason, my fingers and mouse had a mind of their own yesterday....seemingly disconnected from my brain.

Did you receive my mail addy reply? If not, let me know and I'll resend. I typed it all up, and then hit something and the screen was gone...so I'm not sure the post was sent.

Anyway, on to you....glad to read that the surgery might actually, really, really happen this time. How long are you expected to stay in the hospital after the surgery?
