2) hotel muppet: Have a house guest at the moment; a guy from work who needed somewhere to stay as he's between flats. He's been with me about two weeks and is due to leave on Monday. It's been fine having him stay, just it's a bit weird sharing your space that much when you're used to being alone, you know?
3) hospital: Spoke to admissions this morning and the operation is still scheduled for May 27th so I'm a little excited today as this is the closest I've got to it actually happening! Trying not to get too excited though, considering how gutted I've been the last couple of times they've cancelled it.
4) sorry: Just wanted to apologise for my rubbishness lately, really. I hardly ever post real posts and I'm not even commenting all that much. Things are just incredibly manic the last few weeks what with

I am so glad the date is still the same! I really hope it'll all work out this time round! :D
Don't worry about not being around much or not commenting much, we all have periods like that, doesn't mean we forget each other or stop caring about each other. *gives you a cookie*
I can totally relate to having someone stay for a prolonged period of time being slightly weird. I had a friend stay with me who came back to Germany for a month or two, to work and then go back to Taiwan. She pretty much drove me insane tbh. We did have our good and fun times, but after the first week in my one-room 32m² flat I started to linger at work and uni and generally spend a LOT of time at friends' places and only went home to sleep. Truly hope your experience went much much better!

It's stupid because he's a lovely bloke and he's really making an effort and I do appreciate that, it's just I'm so used to livng alone (apaprt from the weekends with Peter) that I just really miss having my own space.

I totally understand, my friend is a bit high maintenance but otherwise pretty nice, she did some things that drove me insane, like, I'd bought and put away some chocolate and when I came home after midnight the next day (was still babysitting at the time) she'd eaten ALL of the chocolate and not left a single piece. I don't think I've been that angry about food-theft in a long time.
I love living alone, so I totally get that no matter how much you like a person they are still an intruder into your most holy, if they live with you.
One of my best mates always says that usually people are happy twice about having a visitor, once when they get there and once when they leave! ;)
Mwah!

That's a good saying and I agree =)
