4.

1) gym: Am still going to the gym most days. Still feeling like I stick out like a sore thumb but still going and still working hard, so at least that's something.

2) work: Back to work tomorrow (albeit part-time for now) after a bit of a break. Am dreading it more than I can say. They already have a meeting lined up for Wednesday with me, my line manager and unit manager which sounds like it's going to be extrememly stressful and unpleasant (for me) so any good luck vibes anyone feels like throwing out there would be appreciated. I would give pretty much anything at this point to be able to afford to leave that place.

3) comm & flist cut: Did a little tidy up of the communities I belong to/watch a couple of days ago so will likely follow that with a flist cut shortly. Some of us are following each other out of nothing more than habit now which isn't a reason to be on anyone's flist; I like my flist manageable enough that I can read all the entries and for it to be interactive, which is why I keep it relatively small, and if we're not interacting and/or are not interested in what each other is saying, then what's the point, yeah?

4)fandom:

a) does anyone know when the new series of Lewis is going to air?
b) todays [livejournal.com profile] h5o_daily post made me smile.
c) I swear I saw a fic posted recently, a modern AU where Merlin and Arthur are both fathers whose kids go tp the same school, and they've both seen each other but wrongly assume the other is straight. Or something. I think it was a WIP which is why I never bookmarked it but now I can't seem to find it and I'm starting to think I imagined it. Did I?
d) this series of being human is great so far.

Hope you're all okay ♥

It's nice to know someone else likes it too. I've only just got into it, and by just I mean I downloaded and watched every single episode during the last month or so. Funny really, as I never watched Morse. Love Lewis though.

I don't think that's it, though I suppose it might be. I never read any of it, I just remember the summary, which is pretty much as I wrote it above, and I don't remember anything about the kids fighting, just that they'd noticed each other when dropping the kids off at school and were both assuming the other was straight when in fact they weren't. It's really annoying me now, and I was sure one of you might actually know it. Maybe I did imagine it then.

Thanks love, I'm going to need it.

Lewis is a bit of a slow burner, the cases are always a bit tricky but I really love the Oxford/university atmosphere and I really, really like Lewis and Hathaway together, they make a great team and I'm eagerly waiting for the new series! :D

Just out of interest I've checked out an old episode of Morse at the ITVplayer some time ago and I have to say: I LOOOOOVE it! It's just so entertaining and interesting to see an 80s UK crime series and the actor who played Morse was quite charismatic. So whenever ITV repeats an episode I very much enjoy watching it.

Lewis and Hathaway are a fantastic team, and I love how long and intricate the episodes are. Just a shame there are so few episodes per series.

I do remember Morse being on for years and years, and probably did see odd episodes here and there, but never really got into it or was that interested. I don't know. John Thaw was an amazing actor though.
