Yeah, I'm crap at updating. So instead:


1) gwaine: Peter will not believe that this is Gwaine. Will someone slap him please and tell him I'm right? And whilst you're at it, tell him to stop sending me Top Gear YouTube clips which I'm sure he does to wind me up as he knows how much Jeremy Clarkson annoys the crap out of me.

2) camera: I was going to post some photos of my holiday decorations, as I usually do, but my camera has finally died. So instead have the last picture I actually took with it, which is of Peter and my nephew Josh (7) stood next to my tree which they'd just decoarted, drinking hot chocolate:

I am not sure if it is Gwaine, but he is certainly, um, built along similar lines. I am usually really good at recognizing actors, but when they cut their hair or grow it out, I get all confused, hence my not knowing for many years that Indiana Jones and Han Solo were played by the same guy.

BTW, I just finished catching up on Merlin. I love it. And Gwaine needs to have more shirtless scenes. :)

It's definitely Gwaine. It has to be, he's the spit of him (although I much prefer him in Merlin with longer hair & a bit of scruff, he looks too young in that ad - says she who's 23).

Hm, definitely looks like Gwaine, especially when he's not clean-shaven yet. If you pause it right around the 4-second mark I think it's a pretty good likeness w/ the stubble on. (Not that I have done that six or seven times, nope.)

Hmmmm... I'm not 100% convinced it's Eoin Macken, but I'm used to only seeing him with the excess scruff, so I don't know... *ponders* ;) I think I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed this out to me, but I would be willing to bet you're correct! (Do you know 100% that it's him, or are you just speculating?)

I haven't seen any of season 3 yet, so I couldn't say if it's Gwaine or not. I can, however, tell you that this man is crazy hot. And that's really all that's important in the world.

This reminds me that I need to sit down and watch the show. I'm missing my Bradley and Colin!
