1) hospital: Had my hospital gynae appointment on Tuesday which I wasn't at all worried about and which turned out to be an absolutely horrible, humiliating experience for reasons I'm just not going to go into. The upside though is that although they now think it is endometriosis they're not going to do surgery right now as the contraceptive my GP started me on a few weeks ago is seemingly successful at managing the pain right now (no longer in that amount of pain every day, just occasionally) so they're going to leave me on that for the time being. If/when the pain gets worse I'll go back and they'll talk about surgery options. So it's all good really.
2) advent calenders: Came back into work yesterday having had Tuesday off for my hospital appointment and found two advent calenders for me on my desk! This made ridiculously happy as I am in fact a complete child =)

adelagia wrote me a Merlin/Arthur drabble the other day in apology for mocking my status as an upstanding citizen which, frankly, is outrageous, right? She is of course forgiven as the drabble is adorable. If you've not seen it already you should go check it out; Trust Me, I'm A Physician's Apprentice ♥
4) tod: Was amazingly awesome at work and tweaked the Timetable of Doom so that 15 people can have A/L on Xmas Eve. I have impressed even myself with this feat and if I don't receive many cakes for this I will be sorely disappointed. I then got a freaked out email from the manager which initially amused me a great deal and then totally offended me; basically she completely doubted my ability to actually pull this off and was I sure I could do it and would the managers have to work with clients to enable this to happen (God forbid) and blah blah blah. *sighs* Whatever. I'll meet with her today to show that yes I can in fact pull this off and she should have more faith.
5) merlin boys: Saw the boys on The Paul O'Grady show yesterday evening; Colin looked delicous as always and although Bradley's facial experiment seems to have filled out a little bit, I'm still not liking it.
